Condition of Products / Grading Policy

Here at iCraft Mac PC we have devised an accurate Grading Policy to ensure we deliver products to our customers with clear and concise information on their condition, both physically and aesthetically.

Each product is processed in house by one of our engineers and assigned a grade based upon its condition and workings. Our grading structure spans from"Grade A", through to "Grade C", our lowest functional grade.

Below Grade C we do not offer for sale, which are deemed to be not working or unfit for resale by our high standards, and would be classed as suitable only for auction format only / for spares or repair.

New Stock

Aging or surplus stock that we are looking to clear. These products are new and complete with all accessories, packaging, seals intact and carry the manufacturers full UK warranty.

Refurbished / Graded Stock

Customer returned product processed in house by our engineers. These units vary in cosmetic condition, and although the higher Grading can appear as new, some have varying degrees of cosmetic markings, and usually come with only essential materials & plain packaging.
Some refurbished laptop models may come with a US style keyboard, with very little difference to our UK layout. For more info please see here.
Please note that any aspects of the product often contain refurbished parts irrespective of the grading level. Whats more, parts that are classified as perishable are not covered under warranty and/or life. In particular, in the case of laptops this would mean the life / charge duration of the battery

Grade A+ (As New / Near New)

Excellent condition - often box opened only

Often come in retail box, but not always (please see description or inquire)

Very minor mark or blemish may be visible on very close inspection. Although majority of the time there is none.

Grade A- (Minor Cosmetics)

This is very close to Grade A, however will have some minor superficial marks such as slight wear on keys, very slight marks or hairline scratches on upper plastics or the chassis.

Grade B - (Slight Cosmetic Damage)

This will include heavier cosmetic marks than Grade A-, such as dis-coloration, actual scratch on the chassis. or chip.

Note that any damage present will be cosmetic only and not hinder the functionality or usage of the laptop.

Grade C – (Noticeable Cosmetic Damage)

May include scratches to the chassis or upper plastics, loose hinges, missing flaps or bezels and minor structural damage which has been repaired.

Any Missing parts will be stated on the product description.

Damaged Stock

For sale through our Bargain Basement category these products are sold no warranty offered.


Shipping Information

We will only deliver to the address on your account (PayPal verified address, if payment is via PayPal) at the time of order. Please ensure this address reflects your choice of delivery location. We are unable to change delivery address details once you have paid for your order. Please ensure you have an up to date daytime telephone number on your account should we need to contact you. International orders, may require ID to be provided (passport, driving license). However if payment is made via bank transfer or wired transfer, delivery can be to a non verified address.

Standard and pre-built items are dispatched within 2-3 full working days after receipt of cleared payment - with most items shipping the next working day. However custom items / hackintosh builds will take a minimum of 3-4 working days and in some cases as long as 5-6 working days.
Deliveries take place Monday to Friday 09.00 to 18.00 and must be SIGNED FOR. Failed delivery attempts will be carded or in line with Courier policy. You must contact the courier to arrange re-delivery or collection. Failed deliveries returned to us will be refunded within 7 days less any charges for delivery. You will receive a dispatch notification when your order ships. We are unable to offer any combined shipping discounts. We do not offer a collection or drop off service as standard, unless expressly agreed by ourselves in advance. Items delivered damaged must be reported to us within 48 hours.

*Next working day service to UK Mainland only except for the following Post Code areas, AB, IV, KW, PA21 to PA29, PH BT, where delivery will be made within 72hrs of shipment confirmation.

Payment and Pricing Information

We ONLY accept payment via Stripe, Skrill / Moneybookers and bank transfer. Goods will only be sent when payment has cleared.
A shipping confirmation will be sent once we have received cleared funds and all goods are dispatched..
All orders are subject to stock availability at the time of shipping.

Refunds / Cancellation Information

In an event of a order cancellation / change of mind or return in 14 day cool off period, the payment provider does not refund the transaction fee of 2.9%. As such circustmances are outside of our control and the refund reason is not due to a fault in product / loss or damage in consignment. This 2.9% will not be refunded.
Note in the case of returning the item in your 14 day cool off period, the item must be retruned to us within 14 days after we have been notified. Failure to do so, will invalidate returns, as per Distance Selling Regulations.
If you chose a more expensive delivery option, other than standard, then only standard delivery is refunded, in line with Distance Selling Regulations.

 

Warranty Information

*Please note our trading times are 10am to 6pm Mon-Fri. We are closed Bank Holidays and Weekends.
*Refurbished items warranty are clearly stated on the listing, and do not carry the same cover as new / box open products whose rights are listed below

Unwanted Purchases/Your Right to Cancel

You must notify us of your intent to cancel within 7 days of the date the day after delivery to your address.

Returned items must be in their original and unused condition, complete with all parts, accessories, original packaging and the original invoice.

A full refund of the order total will be processed.

The Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and insurance.

Any item delivered damaged must be reported to us within 24 hours.

Faulty products - Full Manufacturers Warranty

In the event of a fault developing with your purchase the warranty should be exercised direct with the manufacturer.

Faulty products - Balance of Manufacturers Warranty/60 Days Return to iCraft Mac PC

In the event of a fault developing with your purchase the warranty should be exercised direct with the manufacturer.

Should this warranty claim be rejected and be dated within 60 days of the original purchase date please notify us and iCraft Mac PC will endeavour to accept the return of the product and offer a full refund excluding any delivery charges. Subject to condition and warranty checks.

Written evidence of the warranty claim being rejected must be provided prior to iCraft PC authorising the return of the product

Faulty products - 60 Day Return to iCraft Mac PC

In the event of a fault developing with your purchase please notify us and a returns authorisation will be issued

We do not authorise the customer to repair or alteration of our products, hardware or software, without our prior consent. Should a customer do so without our consent, then this invalidates any warranty they have with us, as the product is considered altered / not in same condition.

All units returned will be tested in house and a full refund will be issued on confirmation of the fault

Items proving to be in working order will be returned to the buyer, at the buyer's expense

If the buyer does not pay for return costs of non faulty products, we reserve the right to dispose of all items after 30 days of initially notifying the customer.

Used / Pre-owned Sales - Bargain Basement & Clearance

Please note No warranty is offered or implied by iCraft Mac PC for any item sold as used or pre-owned (not same as refurbished).

In the event of a unit being received 'not as described' please notify us and we will investigate accordingly
